The Vision

Word of Deliverance Ministries for the World, Inc. and S.O.A.R. Development Corporation are partnering to establish a 40,000 sq.ft. Family Life Center. This center will serve as a community anchor for a multitude of community services that do not exist in Forest Park or neighboring communities. The changing demographics of the Tri-County area point to a need to create access for persons who need public services.  

The Family Life Center is a state of the art community center that will be providing the following services:

• Substance abuse prevention for youth

• Addiction recovery (support groups) and treatment referral

• Expanded after school and summer tutorial/enrichment activities

• Parenting programs

• Kinship and foster care support

• Computer Technology Center - CyberSOAR

• Workforce development training classes

• Business development

• Small business incubator assistance

• Full-sized gymnasium/auditorium

• Recreational leagues and fitness classes

• Creative and performing arts programs

• Consumer housing assistance
