The
improvement of educational success for African American children in
our community is a priority. SOAR sponsors an
after-school tutorial program, in collaboration with the Winton
Woods Local School District, to ensure successful completion of
school academic requirements. It is our goal
to involve children in cultural, social and career development
activities.
SOARing
Adventures is
our summer educational enrichment camp targeting elementary school
children. SOAR connects high school students and
adults seeking to further their education with scholarship
information. SOAR also offers ESL (English as a Second
Language) classes for Hispanic/Latino adults living in the tri-county area.
